This or That: A Busy Morning is the first children’s book written by  RIE^® Associate, Wendy Kronick (together with her writing partner, Susan Beauchene). It is the first in a series of entertaining books that use rhyme to encourage your baby to be involved in day-to-day choices. Rather than having the book read to them, babies are actively involved in making choices as they go through the story with their parents or caregiver. The adult reader also has the joy of discovering the excitement and cooperation that choice-giving creates in young children. By encouraging this active participation with your baby, you are increasing your child’s logical thinking skills, which will lead to more confidence and engagement with others. Wendy Kronick served on the RIE Board of Directors from 1999-2004. She became passionate about RIE in 1992 as a result of attending Liz Memel’s Parent-Infant Guidance class with her then four-month-old son. She became certified as a RIE Parent-Infant Guidance Class Facilitator in 1997 and has taught in Santa Monica and the West Side. Wendy now facilitates three classes at the RIE Center in Los Angeles.
