RIE® enthusiasts across the US and world are forming communities to discuss, collaborate and share the Educaring® approach with each other and their community. These grass-roots efforts operate independently and can be a great place to connect with other RIE families, practitioners and Associates. They offer speakers, movie nights and conferences. Friends of RIE Minnesota (FORM)
Founded by RIE Associate, Carolyn Paetzel, this group is based in the Twin Cities and outside of pandemics, offers monthly or bi-monthly gatherings for talks, discussions, volunteering.
New Zealand Infant Toddler Consortium (NZITC)
Sharon Smith, RIE Mentor was one of the founding trustees for the New Zealand Infant and Toddler Consortium (NZITC). Continuing to share the work today with this charitable trust through forums, seminar days, and other experiences are RIE Associates Elena Marouchos, Ania Wojckowski, and NZITC committee members.
Friends of RIE Japan
Founded by RIE Associate, Kumiko Akiyama to share the work of RIE and Magda Gerber. Opportunities to grow your understanding of the Educaring Approach in Japan are highlighted via Instagram.

RIE Associate Kristy Thomas shares information on upcoming learning opportunities and RIE events offered growing a community of likeminded parents and professionals in Canada.

Friends of RIE Community Engagement (FORCE)
RIE Associate Shannon Carr founded this Friends of RIE Midwest group in 2017 as a space to offer networking, community, and opportunities to learn more about Magda Gerber’s Educaring Approach and RIE.
