Intro to Educaring® Class

The Educaring® Approach encourages adult caregivers to see young children as competent and capable humans from birth. The Approach seeks to help parents and professionals build stable, secure, healthy relationships with infants and toddlers, encouraging the children’s natural abilities from the very start.

  • Trust in the child
  • The guidelines of sensitive caregiving
  • Facilitating optimal development through play
  • Communicating respect through everyday interactions

“We not only respect babies, we demonstrate our respect every time we interact with them. Respecting a child means treating even the youngest infant as a unique human being, not as an object.”

Testimonials

Read what people have to say about taking our short Introduction to Educaring class.

“I was curious about RIE and the class had a great overview of the key points. I learned a lot from the other participants and got to ask questions that I hadn’t had answered in other resources.”

Intro Student

“I learned so much learning how the child develops physically and the fact that they also benefit from “Wants Nothing” Time…I would say that it definitely changed the way I will work and interact with infants at work and at home. ”
