Author, Ruth Anne Hammond was mentored by Magda Gerber; she works with parents and professionals in the US and abroad. As Sr. Adjunct Faculty and Master Teacher in the Infant/Toddler-Parent Program she taught at Pacific Oaks College and Children’s School from 1996 to 2014. Ruth Anne currently serves on the board of Families Forward Learning Center as Chair of the Programs Advisory Committee. She is a longtime member of researcher and psychologist Allan Schore’s Right Brain Study Group and spends so much time with her nose in a book that when her 4-year-old grandson calls, he doesn’t say, ”Hi.” He says, “Nai Nai, are you reading?”
